Your Story, Your Way
One-on-One Virtual Consultation Session
Creative Storytelling & Project Consultation with Dr. Tasleem
Every story deserves the opportunity to be told with intention, creativity, and care.
Perhaps you have a family story you want to preserve, a personal experience you are ready to put into words, a collection of poems waiting to take shape, or an idea for a play, film, book, or other creative work. You may know the story you want to tell but need help discovering the best way to bring it to life.
I invite you to connect with me for a creative storytelling consultation—a space to share your vision, explore possibilities, and consider how your story might become a meaningful creative project.
As an author, internationally recognized poet, playwright, theater-maker, artist, and interdisciplinary scholar, I work across creative forms to explore memory, identity, spirituality, family, ancestry, healing, and the experiences that shape our lives. I understand that not every story belongs in a book. Some stories call for poetry. Others may be better expressed through theater, film, oral storytelling, visual art, or an interdisciplinary approach.
What We Can Explore Together
During our initial conversation, we can discuss:
Your story and vision: What do you want to express, preserve, document, or share with others?
Your creative direction: Would your story be best suited to a book, poetry, play, film, performance, or another creative medium?
Your project possibilities: What might the project look like, and who do you envision it reaching?
Your next steps: What kind of creative guidance, development, or support might help you move forward?
